There’s old friends and new friends you haven’t met yet.  We had 13 wagons head down the McKenzie trail which was a brilliant turnout.  Old friends Richard and Rosalie, Bruce and Felicity bought their TJs out for a run, Paul has rejoined the club and came out and Lewis came from Palmy, but Webmaster Luke was on his maiden run.  Because of the nature of the single track, I don’t think any one person saw all the action that happened through the whole trip.  Certainly, nobody reported seeing my headlight that fell out somewhere.

Warren set a couple of hillclimb records followed closely by Will while Glen tried hard until a gearbox DNF cancelled the Hell dune attempt, luckily there was an alternate exit down to the beach. 

We regrouped on the beach , had a bit of a play up in the dunes and then left going down the beach to the surf club.
